Here is a small hint - start by filling in the color of your choice, then draw the textile texture on a new layer making sure not to lift the stylus. Then pick the blend mode - linear burn and multiply (in my experience) work best. Find perfect spot by adjusting the layer opacity. Now it is the time to add the pattern on a new layer - play with blending modes and opacity as well to achieve the results you are looking for.
